It was supposed to be a routine breakfast for Neighbors Feeding Neighbors at Washington-Jefferson Park on June 20. But a visibly unhinged man changed all that.
In a video published on social media by Eugene documentarian Tim Lewis of pictureEugene, a man who DSM has identified as Akarion Vulnerbach, formerly known as Tony Mitchell — a prominent glass artist who has gone by pseudonyms including “trashbynobody” and “glassbynobody” and operated now-defunct Nobody Glass LLC — intimidated those at the park throughout the day while mostly sitting in his truck, sharpening an axe.
“What’s interesting here is that we’ve asked to have a conversation with this guy,” an NFN staff member told Lewis, referring to a then-unidentified man who was sharpening an axe in the driver’s seat of a grey Ford F-150.
“Well, I don’t think he’s going to use it against us. I think he’s trying to be dramatic,” the staff member said.
In another part of the video, Vulnerbach is seen exiting his truck and rushing toward Lewis, yelling “motherfucker, you got a problem with me? Good!” The front of his shirt featured a large, bold “FUCK YOU.”
“Have a problem, motherfucker,” he repeated numerous times. “What the fuck do you think this camera’s gonna do?”
When returning back to his truck, the back of his shirt — a big question mark with “glassbynobody” is seen. Notably, there is also a tiny Gadsden Flag on the truck’s tailgate. The LLC for Nobody Glass LLC was registered to Tony Mitchell and, in at least one YouTube video, his first name is mentioned in the description. In May 2025, he petitioned to change his name to Akarion Vulnerbach. DSM will use that name going forward unless confirmed it was not granted.
For unknown reasons, Vulnerbach closed his public social media accounts and dissolved the LLC. Since then, fans of his work have been scouring the internet trying to find him. In one Reddit post, a phone number that was alleged to belong to him was posted.

“I caught a glimpse of his axe,” another NFN staff member said to Lewis. “He was unnecessarily waving it around inside of his truck, you know it’s right there front and center for the main breakfast line.”
Several hours later, around 3:30 p.m. the Eugene Police Department responded to a call from NFN about Vulnerbach’s antics. Vulnerbach marched across the street to meet the responding officer and complained that he was being recorded, pointing-out Lewis. He was told it wasn’t a crime.

At the same time, two other officers arrested a houseless woman. According to Lewis, she had been sitting and eating beforehand.
“Film all you want, you freak,” Vulnerbach yelled at Lewis while he walked back across the street to the park. “You don’t own this park, you stupid fuck.”
Around 6:30 p.m., Vulnerbach left in his truck, circled the park, and returned to where he had been parked all day. He finally left around 8 p.m. — more than nine hours after the breakfast serving began.
Vulnerbach was, again, at Washington-Jefferson Park on June 22.
DSM reached out to Vulnerbach via phone to hear his side of the situation, using his former name as the name change was still uncertain, and later received an emailed response as requested (Editor’s Note: DSM staff do not usually give their phone numbers out). Then, after already disclaiming he did not want to be contacted, sent a one-liner around 6 hours later, reminding DSM to use the correct name, and then another shortly after that. The two lengthy responses:
The Eugene Police Department did not respond to DSM’s inquiry regarding the call and the department’s response by press time.
