Proud Boys Attend “Never Stop Fighting” Rally at the Oregon State Capitol

On Jan. 8, just over a year after the Jan. 6 Insurrection, a far-right “Never Stop Fighting” rally was held at the Oregon State Capitol.

Scheduled for 12 p.m. – 4 p.m., the rally, which called for “justice for J6 political prisoners” and “justice for Ashli Babbitt” was attended by around 50 people — including more than 20 Proud Boys.

In front of the Capitol were two banners that read “Free our Political Prisoners” and “We Love Proud Boys”

The playlist for the rally was loaded with Green Day tracks like “Holiday” and “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” — both from the aptly-named-for-this-event ‘American Idiot’ album. Pine Tree Riots’ “We’ll Have Our Home Again” was also featured.

Antifascist flyers for individuals such as Portland Proud Boy chapter president Daniel Tooze, Proud Boy Tusitala “Tiny” Toese, violent right-wing extremist Magen Marie—who gave a speech—and Proud Boy Barry Lloyd James Johnson had been posted on metal barriers. The latter smugly took photos with his.

At one point, it was even reported by independent journalist Alix Powell that Flip Todd, a notable Proud Boy, made a call for White Claw to sponsor the group.

The rally came to an end by 3 p.m.
